A rail employee is dead after a train derailed in central Florida early Thursday morning.
A spokesman for the Florida Department of Transportation said a freight train carrying gravel was being pushed from a rail yard at SunRail station in Sanford - to a construction site - when four cars derailed.
A worker was buried in the gravel - and crews using heavy equipment later found his body.
The derailment is under investigation.
