Oct. 28 - Michael Jackson's doctor walks out of jail a free man after serving two years for involuntary manslaughter in the King of Pop's death. Linda So reports.

Michael Jackson fans set up these signs and waited outside a Los Angeles jail for Conrad Murray to be released. SOUNDBITE: MICHAEL JACKSON FAN KARLENE TAYLOR, SAYING: "He murdered Michael Jackson. He will never get a day in peace." Murray was convicted of administering a fatal dose of the powerful anesthetic Propofol to the King of Pop, causing his death. He was released Monday morning after serving two years behind bars. SOUNDBITE: LA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE PUBLIC SPOKESPERSON STEVE WHITMORE, SAYING: "Conrad Murray was released at 12:01 tonight from the LA County jail. He was released safely and securely. That's pretty much all we'll be saying." Murray managed to avoid the crowd waiting outside. His lawyer asking the public to respect his privacy. SOUNDBITE: CONRAD MURRAY'S LAWYER VALERIE WASS, SAYING: "I hope the media respects his need for some time with his family, and some time to acclimate to life as a free man, because believe me, after you've been locked up in this place for two years, it's a shock both emotionally and physically." Murray's lawyer went on to say she believes her client will practice medicine again. Jackson supporters couldn't be more against it. SOUNDBITE: MICHAEL JACKSON FAN KARLENE TAYLOR, SAYING: "No doctor thinks he should get his license back. He was unfit, unethical, and incompetent and greedy. He shouldn't get anything back. He should suffer." Murray was granted early release after serving two years of his four year sentence.
