ROUGH CUT - NO NARRATION After being quoted by the UK's Sunday People newspaper that he finds acting 'boring', Jude Law went on to explain his comments while attending the European premiere of 'Dom Hemingway' at the Curzon Mayfair cinema in London on Monday (October 28). Playing the title role of the foul-mouthed, drugged up, heavy drinking criminal Dom Hemingway has given Law a chance to break free from the part of the good-looking leading man, and he said his enthusiasm for his profession wavers with the opportunities he's given. Written and directed by Richard Shepard ('The Matador'), 'Dom Hemingway' is a film about a former code breaker who comes out of prison after 12 years, where he has been incarcerated for keeping his mouth shut. Determined to collect money he's owed, he travels to France with his devoted, one-handed companion Dickie, played by Richard E. Grant, before mingling with other unsavoury characters of the London criminal underworld while trying to rekindle a relationship with his daughter and grandson. 'Dom Hemingway' which was first shown at the Toronto Film Festival on September 8, will be released in the UK on November 15 and in the United States next year on April 4.
