Lady Gaga's false teeth and wig combo may have got the photographers excited... But it was veteran rapper Eminem who proved his particular brand of hip hop could still generate the most clicks. At the first ever YouTube awards in New York, Eminem scooped the gong for Artist of the Year. At the caotic and unscripted star-studded bash, artists were awarded based views, likes and shares on the video sharing website. Streaming live online, the YouTube awards are being touted as the Google-owned site staking its claim on a bigger slice of the music business. YouTube has positioned itself in recent years as a major source of new music videos for fans. And it's expected to introduce a paid music service by the end of the year.
