ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Marilyn Tavenner, the administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, testified before a Senate committee on Tuesday. In testimony, she told lawmakers HealthCare.gov is slowly improving. "We have made significant progress in improving the performance and functionality of the website and we expect the user experience to improve with each passing week," Tavenner said. Tavenner's testimony comes a week after Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius was in the hot-seat answering questions about the website's ongoing problems. Lawmakers also grilled Tavenner about the cancellation of health care policies despite President Obama's repeated promise that Americans would be able to keep their existing coverage.
