ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Four red panda cubs made their debut at a Wildlife Conservation Society's Bronx Zoo and Prospect Park Zoo. With pointed ears and and red and black furry coats and tails, the cubs look more like chubby foxes. The cubs, who were born this summer could be seen clumsily negotiating tree branches and trailing adult red pandas. Red pandas are native to Nepal, India, Bhutan, China, and Myanmar. According to the Wildlife Conservation society, they reach adulthood at around 18 months. Red pandas are considered "vulnerable" by the International Union of Conservation of Nature because of heavy deforestation in China and Myanmar.
