An army base in the crosshairs of Syria's civil war.
Amateur video which can not be independently verified by Reuters appears to show rebel forces taking aim at the 80th Brigade army base in Aleppo.
They reportedly took control of the base Saturday.
Now state media and activists say that Syrian forces backed by Lebanese Hezbollah militants recaptured the army base in the third day of heavy fighting for the military target which has changed hands three times since Friday.
At least 60 people were reportedly killed in the fight.
Rebels have held roughly half of Aleppo since storming into the city in July 2012.
Footage from other parts of the country shows the war raging on.
After 2-1/2 years of war -- fighting has settled into a broad stalemate in which more than 100 people are killed every day.
