Hugh Jackman was treated for basal cell carcinoma - a slow-growing form of skin cancer. The actor posted a picture of himself on his Instagram account, showing him with a bandage on his nose. According to experts, Jackman's type of cancer is usually caused by UV exposure and can be highly disfiguring if allowed to grow.
Hollywood star Angelina Jolie stopped Sydney traffic on Friday (November 22) as she filmed scenes for her new film, "Unbroken." Jolie is directing the film which tells the story of an Olympic runner whose plane crashes in the Pacific during WWII.
Oscar host Ellen DeGeneres dished on what audiences should expect to see at the awards show in March. She said it was "nerve-wracking" the first time she hosted the Academy Awards in 2007, but then thought she should challenge herself the second time around. The talk show host said she'll be joking around and interacting a lot with the audience. Oscar nominations will be announced on January 16 with the show to be broadcast live on March 2.
Microsoft's latest gaming console "Xbox One" went on sale on Friday (November 22). It has been eight years since Microsoft revealed its Xbox 360 in 2005. Microsoft rival Sony sold a million of its newest PlayStations within the first 24 hour of its November 15 release in North America. At $499, the Xbox One costs $100 more than its rival console.
