Nov. 23 - Passengers scramble for cover after a car crash and a prank call about a suspected gunman inside LAX triggers a massive police response. Linda So reports.

Panic at Los Angeles International Airport Friday night. People run for cover after police respond to a call about a suspected gunman inside the airport. Turns out the call was a hoax. SOUNDBITE: UNIDENTIFIED PASSENGER, SAYING: "They had to clear out the whole terminal, they had to evacuate the terminal and they had the bomb sniffing dogs going through and everything." At the same time, an SUV crashed outside an airport terminal. The loud boom causing a panic among passengers. SOUNDBITE: UNIDENTIFIED OFFICIAL, SAYING: "The driver had a medical emergency which caused her to lose control of her vehicle and she caused several small traffic collisions." Friday night's incident comes just weeks after a gunman shot and killed a TSA officer at LAX on November 1st. SOUNDBITE: UNIDENTIFIED OFFICIAL, SAYING: "What occured here was a hypersensitivity to what happened here on the first which caused people to react in the way that they did. I don't have a problem with that, it just there's consequences to it." After police searched the airport, they determined there was no real threat.
