Car slides, rolls over on snow covered road

Nov. 25 - Drivers struggled to maintain control of their vehicles on snow packed roads in Texas and New Mexico and airlines canceled flights as a winter storm barreled through the region. Deborah Gembara reports.

Blanketed in snow in Texas and New Mexico -- where the roads are slick and traveling even at slow speeds can be treacherous. SOUNDBITE: JESSICA SANCHEZ, FORMER MIDLAND RESIDENT, SAYING: "We've never seen weather like this. This is not normal." In Colorado, a heavy snow fall had locals treading cautiously. SOUNDBITE: Colorado resident saying: "The roads are really thick and I've seen a lot of accidents already." It isn't just the roads that have been impacted. Hundreds of flights out of Dallas Ft. Worth airport have been canceled and things are only expected to get worse ahead one of the biggest travel days in the U.S.
