Ben Stiller sank his hands and feet into cement in the forecourt of the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Tuesday (December 03), to promote the release of his latest film, "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty." Stiller was introduced by Tom Cruise, who appeared with him in "Tropic Thunder," which Stiller starred in, directed and co-wrote. The 48-year-old star also directed "Reality Bites," "The Cable Guy" and "Zoolander." A Russian judge found former Bolshoi Ballet dancer Pavel Dmitrichenko guilty and sentenced him to six years in prison for an acid attack that nearly blinded the artistic director of the troupe. After a month-long trial, which revealed bitter rivalries behind the scenes of the Bolshoi Theatre, the judge said the dancer and two co-defendants had intentionally caused grievous bodily harm to the victim. Madison Square Garden has announced that music legend Billy Joel will become the first-ever music franchise at the famed venue. Joel already has five concerts scheduled at the Garden each month from January through May. Orlando Bloom, Evangeline Lilly and director Peter Jackson hit the red carpet ahead of the world premiere for "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug." The film follows the further adventures of hobbit Bilbo Baggins and his team of heroes as they continue their quest to regain the gold captured by the dragon, Smaug. The film hits U.S. and U.K. theaters on December 13.
