How do you say Netflix in French? You can't. The online video company is in talks with government officials to launch its streaming service in Europe's third-largest market. But there's some concerns the business model used in 41 mostly English-language countries may not work with Francophiles. For one, France has a complex set of rules that, depending how a subscriber accesses Netflix, could delay viewing a recent movie from four months to up to three years. That's made attempts by others to break into the French market quite difficult. Netflix needs a steady stream of monthly paying subscribers around the world in order to pay-up for costly access to the movies and TV shows customers want to watch.
