Nelson Mandela died peacefully at his Johannesburg home on Thursday (December 05) after a prolonged lung infection. Twitter reactions from celebrities like Charlize Theron, Fergie, Whoopi Goldberg and Mike Tyson expressed heartfelt condolences. Mandela, the country's first black president and anti-apartheid icon, emerged from 27 years in prison to help guide South Africa through bloodshed and turmoil to democracy. Amanda Bynes has been released from a rehab facility where she was receiving psychiatric care, this according to People magazine. The 27-year-old actress had allegedly started a fire in the driveway of a Los Angeles home back in July. Bynes is on probation in California for driving on a suspended license and is also on trial in California and New York for charges of driving under the influence, marijuana possession and throwing a bong out of a window. One Direction made chart history as its third album debuted at No.1 on the weekly U.S. Billboard 200 album chart, the only group to have its first three albums top the chart in opening week sales. The quintet's "Midnight Memories" sold 546,000 copies, according to figures from Nielsen SoundScan. Gal Gadot, the Israeli model and actress who played a supporting role in the past three "Fast & Furious" films, has been cast as Wonder Woman in the upcoming untitled sequel to "Man of Steel." She was in the middle of production on "Fast & Furious 7" when co-star Paul Walker died over the weekend in a fiery car crash.
