With earnings of 125 million U.S. dollars, Forbes magazine has named Madonna the highest-paid woman in music.
Her income from June 2012 to 2013 also made her the highest-earning celebrity overall.
Much of the earnings came from her worldwide MDNA Tour, which pulled in 305 million.
But the 55-year-old singer also cashed in with merchandising sales of her fragrance and her Material Girl clothing line.
Lady Gaga jumped from number 4 to number 2 with 80 million dollars, despite her Born This Way Ball tour being cut short due to an injury.
Swift dropped from second place to third -- her 55 million came from sales of her latest album "Red" as well as endorsement deals and tours.
Not far behind is Beyonce with 53 million and Jennifer Lopez rounded out the top five with 45 million.
