This baby cub is one of three rare white lions born at a zoo in Tiblisi last week.
The litter were separated from their mother shortly after birth and are being bottle fed and kept warm indoors.
The zoo's director says the birth was a special occasion for the zoo, but is also important for the breed at large.
SOUNDBITE: Tiblisi zoo director Zurab Gurielidze saying (Georgian):
"There are no white lions in nature any more. There are just some of them left in captivity. We can view any birth like this as a contribution to restoring this rare breed."
Mom and dad, Samuel and Cleopatra, came to the zoo from South Africa several years ago.
That is where the breeds' natural habitat is. And according to the Global White Lion Trust, there are less than 10 White Lions surviving in the region.
