These two Muslim converts - caught on security cameras - have been found guilty of hacking a British soldier to death with meat cleavers and knives. Officials say Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale murdered Lee Rigby on May 22 in London. After the verdict, Detective Inspector Pete Sparks read a statement on behalf of the family. (SOUNDBITE) (English) DETECTIVE INSPECTOR PETE SPARKS, SAYING: "We are satisfied that justice has been done. But unfortunately no amount of justice will bring Lee back." Rigby was 25 years old and an Afghan war veteran. The two denied the murder, but Adebolajo said at the time that the act was motivated by religion. (SOUNDBITE) (English) MICHAEL ADEBOLAJO, SPEAKING DURING POLICE INTERVIEW, SAYING: "By Allah's decree whilst waiting to find a soldier, because between us we decided that the soldier is the most fair target because he joins the army with kind of the understanding that your life is at risk when you join the army." Here's Sue Hemming of the Crown Prosecution Service. (SOUNDBITE) (English) SUE HEMMING, CROWN PROSECUTION SERVICE, SAYING: "As a soldier this young father has dedicated his life to keeping people safe, including from the threat of terrorism." The two men will be sentenced in January.
