The White House has given consumers an extra day to sign up for Obamacare, to obtain coverage that starts on January 1st.
This comes in response to a last-minute rush of people signing up for Obamacare on Monday, as the deadline loomed.
HealthCare.gov reported record traffic.
It received 1.2 million visits over the weekend and surpassed 1 million more visits by late afternoon Monday.
The hustle to sign up could help the Obama administration, as it tries to patch up a botched rollout of technical glitches with the website.
