Dec. 26 - A U.S. woman from the family that founded C.W. Post cereals is discovered dead in Honduras. Deborah Lutterbeck reports.

Nedenia Post Dye, a U.S. businesswoman and the great-granddaughter of socialite Marjorie Merriweather Post is found dead in Honduras . Police suspect that she may have been murdered. Local media says the 46-year-old heiress owned a luxury spa in Honduras, and had lived in the country for more than a decade. Police said her partner, Lenin Arana, is being questioned in connection with the case. (SOUNDBITE) (SPANISH) ROATAN POLICE CHIEF, ALEXIS MADRID, SAYING: "We regret the death of a resident of this island, Mrs. Nedenia Post, who apparently was killed by her partner, Lenin Arana. This person has been detained and has been put before the courts." Marjorie Merriweather Post was reportedly 27-years-old when she inherited Post Cereal Company that became General Foods. Honduran newspapers say Post Dye did charity work to help youth in the impoverished, Central American nation.
