His bark is as big as his bite. Meet Daniel - the two year-old miracle dog. He'll be the star of the Lucy Pet Foundation float at the Rose Bowl Parade, looking wide-eyed... and maybe not so bushy tailed. (SOUNDBITE) (English) DANIEL'S OWNER, JOE DWYER, SAYING: "The amazing thing about Daniel is his demeanor. He is one of the most friendly, affable dogs. He just loves life." Daniel was the only one of 17 dogs to survive an Alabama "death-chamber," pumped with carbon monoxide. (SOUNDBITE) (English) DANIEL'S OWNER, JOE DWYER, SAYING: "It's a tragedy when they're put in that horrific situation" An animal control officer opened the chamber a few minutes later, and out came Daniel wagging his tail. (SOUNDBITE) (English) VETERINARIAN, KAREN HALLIGAN, SAYING: "So he probably had shallow breathing, he was up high, and that and a combination of a miracle is how he survived." High fives, Daniel! Enjoy the Rose Bowl parade.
