Dec. 29 - ''Bad luck. Unfortunately,'' says one 'Schumi' fan after hearing the news of famed racer's blow to the head skiing on the French Alps. Gavino Garay reports.

The most successful Formula One racer of all time, Michael Schumacher, suffers a blow to the head skiing in the French Alps.
A Meribel resort official says he had been skiing off-piste.
One 'Schumi' fan gives his reaction in Schumacher's native Germany...
(SOUNDBITE) (German) KARL-HEINZ HAEGER SAYING:
"He was a high rick driver his whole career and everything went well. And you see: he had an accident while skiing. Bad luck. Unfortunately."
He reportedly hit his head on a rock, but was wearing a helmet at the time of his injury and was conscious while being transported to the hospital.
His spokeswoman was unable to provide details on the incident, but did say he had been on a private ski trip.
