Jan. 3 - Newly released video shows arsonist setting Chinese consulate in San Francisco on fire. FBI is investigating. Linda So reports.

Newly released surveillance video captures the exact moment of the arson attack, when someone set the Chinese consulate in San Francisco on fire. This is the damage that was done when the FBI says someone poured two buckets of gasoline at the front gate and set it on fire Thursday night. SOUNDBITE: CHINESE CONSULATE SPOKESMAN WANG CHUAN, SAYING: "We strongly condemn this despicable act." The consulate was open at the time of the incident and there were workers inside, but no one was hurt. The Chinese government is urging the U.S. to work quickly to catch the arsonist and beef up security. SOUNDBITE: CHINESE CONSULATE SPOKESMAN WANG CHUAN, SAYING: "We will urge them to enhance the protection of the consulate." The FBI says the incident was not a terrorist act. The agency is working with the State Department to find the person responsible.
