Family members of Michael Schumacher arrived at the French hospital on Saturday where the seven-time Formula One world champion is fighting for his life after a skiing accident. Schumacher's wife Corinna, father Rolf and brother Ralf visited the hospital on Saturday morning, along with his press officer Sabine Kehm and International Motorsport Federation (FIA) president Jan Todt. Schumacher has been receiving treatment at the hospital in Grenoble after an accident on December 29 in the resort town of Meribel in which he hit his head on a rock while skiing off piste. Ferrari fans were also outside the hospital on Saturday, as were the banners, candles and lanterns that remained from a vigil by fans held in honor of the German's 45th birthday the day before. The Schumacher family issued a statement on Friday thanking fans, saying they were moved to tears, while French media reported that investigators were studying a camera the German had on him at the time of the accident. France's BFM TV channel reported that his family had given investigators a mini camera Schumacher had apparently attached to his helmet. Investigators also interviewed his son, added BFM TV which said he was with Schumacher at the time of the accident. On Wednesday, his agent said Schumacher was in an artificial coma in a stable condition, but no update has been given since then.
