ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
A search of teen pop star Justin Bieber's home was conducted Tuesday on suspicion of felony vandalism after the singer was accused of pelting his neighbor's home with eggs according to a Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesman.
The vandalism case is being treated as a felony because it caused "thousands and thousands of dollars of damage" to the house in the upscale gated community.
(SOUNDBITE) STEVE WHITMORE, LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF SPOKESPERSON SAYING:
"This morning the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept served a search warrant at Justin Bieber's residence connected to a felony vandalism report that Justin Bieber is a named suspect in. We served it this morning. All the participants were cooperative. There was one individual arrested but unrelated. Justin Bieber was on the property, and we did visit with him."
It is not known what triggered the alleged incident between Bieber and his neighbor.
