Sheriff's deputies search Justin Bieber's home

Jan.14 - Deputies raid pop singer's mansion while investigating egg-throwing vandalism that caused thousands of dollars of damage. Jennifer Davis reports.

Justin Bieber is in trouble with the law yet again. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says it conducted a search of the teen pop star's home, Tuesday, on suspicion of felony vandalism after the singer was accused of pelting his neighbor's home with eggs, causing thousands of dollars worth of damage. Lieutenant Dave Thompson of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. (SOUNDBITE) LT. DAVE THOMPSON, LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT SAYING: "I get that the eggs don't seem that significant, but does rise to a felony. There is a victim with serious damage to their home... The damage was to the exterior, the front exterior, pretty much the entire front exterior." Deputies were looking for security video among other things. The investigation is ongoing. (SOUNDBITE) LT. DAVE THOMPSON, LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT SAYING: "Mr. Bieber has security, we contacted. Mr. Bieber was in residence with other friends, and everybody including security was cooperative." Sheriff's deputies say Bieber hasn't been arrested or exonerated. But an adult male in his home was arrested on a cocaine charge.
