EDITORS PLEASE NOTE: THIS EDIT CONTAINS MATERIAL WHICH WAS ORIGINALLY 4:3 AND PART VIDEO QUALITY AS INCOMING What? Never seen a duck on a ski slope? Well, this is no ordinary day on the mountain. China's Mount Gan Ski Resort held a skiing competition for people and their pets. About 40 humans participated, bringing along their bffs - who ranged from dogs to turtles to roosters. And while their furry friends may not have been 'naturals' on the slopes -- for these folks -- the competion was second to having fun. SOUNDBITE: Unnamed female participant saying (Mandarin): "There are very few activities like this that are held with pets, and I just want to bring them out to have fun together." SOUNDBITE: Unnamed female participant saying (Mandarin): "It's really great. Life is just getting richer and richer every day, you know. Life is full of joy, it's really quite good." Curious about the top prize -- looks like it went to the yellow duck, who seemed to have found a nice soft spot of the snow right across the finish line.
