New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has hired a law firm to help his office as federal prosecutors investigate "Bridgegate" scandal. It involves his aides allegedly creating massive traffic jams to get back at a Democratic New Jersey politician last September. Now, Democrats in New Jersey are looking into the allegations. Emails released last week indicated that Christie's aides orchestrated lane closures last September on a stretch of highway leading to the George Washington Bridge -- with the purpose of possibly to retaliating against the Democratic mayor of nearby Fort Lee. The mayor had declined to endorse him in last year's gubernatorial elections. Christie says he didn't know of the reportedly planned lane closures.
