An explosion rocked this Nebraska feed plant in Omaha. SOUNDBITE: Plant Worker Jamar saying: "I just heard this crack, pop, and a big ball of fire. I just took off running as soon as I heard the first crack. It's all I could really do." Authorities say at least nine people are injured. Stacy Stout's father, Duanne was inside the International Nutrition facility at the time. SOUNDBITE: Stacy Stout saying: "He said there's been an explosion and the buildings collapsed. Two of his men are still missing. They're his workers, and he, he started crying, and he just wanted to find them and as far as I know. They still haven't found either of them." Omaha Interim Fire Chief Bernard Kanger says 38 employees were inside the plant at the time. SOUNDBITE: OMAHA INTERIM FIRE CHIEF BERNARD KANGER SAYING: "There are casualties. We are not going to release the number of those fatalities at this time. We have not been able to clear the building yet in terms of going through and conducting an effective search because of the significant collapse and potential risk to our individuals. We had to pull everybody out of the structure and call in specialized teams that secure and shore up the building to allow us to completely clear the structure." Facilities such as this one, which produces feed and vitamins for animals, are considered extremely hazardous because grain and dust carry high risk for explosions and fire.
