Waving to his adoring fans and surrounded by an entourage, it seemed like just another photo op for Justin Bieber.
In fact this was the teen pop star being released from a Miami jail just hours after being arrested on a drunk driving charge.
Police said he'd been caught drag racing on a main thoroughfare in this rented yellow Lamborghini.
Detectives said the 19-year-old Canadian initially resisted arrest, cursed at police officers and later told them he had consumed alcohol, pot and prescription drugs.
Then, changing his demeanor, he grew cooperative and even smiled for his mug shot
A judge set his bail at 2,500 dollars.
Back at his hotel in Miami's legendary South Beach, his ever-loyal fans, known as the Beliebers, were still supporting their idol.
