Amateur video said to be filmed on Saturday purports to show air attacks on the Daraya suburb of Damascus and the city of Aleppo.
Three separate video clips were posted on a social media website. Reuters is unable to independently verify the contents of these images.
A helicopter hovered over Daraya as two explosive barrels fall from the sky, landing on buildings in the suburb sending huge clouds of smoke into the sky.
There were said to be similar scenes in Aleppo, where aircraft noise can be heard on the video segment before an explosion is seen and thick smoke rises.
Syria's civil war foes held their first face-to-face meeting on Saturday at the start of talks to end nearly three years of conflict which has killed 130,000 people and destabilized the wider Middle East.
After a day of delay and fierce recrimination, government and opposition delegates faced each other across a negotiating table at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva in the presence of international mediator Lakhdar Brahimi.
The two parties entered and left the room through separate doors, sitting in silence for half an hour while Brahimi set out his plans - an immediate focus on humanitarian aid which diplomats have described as a confidence-building measure, followed by political talks to resolve the conflict.
Many of the rebel groups fighting on the ground in Syria are not represented by the opposition delegation in Geneva.
