A pre-Grammy party hosted by record producer Clive Davis brought out big names in music, like Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson.
They stretched their vocal chords at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday night.
But this time around, Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke stayed away from a duet.
The stars are getting prepped for the music industry's biggest night, like singer Lorde who has come out strong this year:
(SOUNDBITE) (English) SINGER LORDE, SAYING:
"What does it mean to me? I don't know, I can't even fathom what it's like, it's just the hugest thing, a year ago I couldn't even think that this would happen."
Former Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are set to perform, and organizers say they'll accept a lifetime achievement award on behalf of the fab four.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) RINGO STARR, SAYING:
"We're at the Grammy's for two reasons. One - it's the celebration of 50 years of the Beatles landing in America."
Music lovers, old and new, can tune in when the awards go live Sunday night.
