The stars were out in London last night for the premiere of a Charles Dickens biopic.
"The Invisible Woman" portrays the real-life affair between Dickens and an 18-year-old actress, Nelly Ternan.
Their relationship would have been considered a scandal in the Victorian era and Dickens was eager to hide their liaison.
SOUNDBITE Actor, Ralph Fiennes, saying (English):
"I think he was possibly a rather controlling father and husband. And I think in this film we have to deal with the way Dickens exited his marriage, which was unfortunate and arguably quite cruel."
The film reunites Kristin Scott Thomas and Ralph Fiennes, who famously starred together in "The English Patient".
Fiennes played Dickens and also directed the movie, which was an interesting experience for the actors.
SOUNDBITE Actor, Joanna Scanlan, saying (English):
"It's quite scary. He's got an enormous intense clarity about what he wants and it feels terrifying that you might not come up with the goods. That's what I felt most of the time was that I wasn't doing that good a job.
Up-and-coming actor Felicity Jones stars in the movie as Nelly Ternan.
And she'll be appearing in more films this year, including "Amazing Spider-Man 2".
SOUNDBITE Actor, Felicity Jones, saying (English):
"Very excited, yeah, I've worked with some really great people and really pleased to be a part of some really great films."
The movie has received an Academy Award nomination for best costume design and is released in UK cinemas on February 7th.
