The sweet sounds of a coveted violin. Concert Master Frank Almond took to the stage to play this Stradivarius violin for the first time since it was stolen during a robbery several weeks ago. He performed for a sell-out crowd in Milwaukee Monday night. The 300-year-old violin worth millions of dollars was recovered by Milwaukee police last week. During the concert, Almond thanked the audience for their support. He will play the Stradivarius again this weekend with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. A concert Saturday night will honor police who helped recover the stolen violin.
