ROUGH CUT (NO NARRATION) Tommy Hilfiger transported his audience to ski capped mountains to debut his Fall 2014 at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York on Monday (February 10). In a press release, the American designer said he was "inspired by the great American outdoors, infused with a luxe reinterpretation for today's adventurous young women." Hilfiger mixed western-wear with a bohemian flair to create a collection that would attract the youthful side of his customers. Classic shirt dresses were done in colorful plaids. He striped blankets off beds and created flowy skirts and dresses. Utility cut dark and light denim added to Hilfiger's already success jean line. When it came to materials classic winter fabrics like velvet, fur and suede dominated the collection. As always, accessories played a big part in the line. Models strutted down the runway in wedge sneakers and hiking boots, cut-off cowboy boots and faux-fur clogs. Fashion week in New York will end on February 13.
