Veteran comedian Sid Caesar, star of the 1950s television classic "Your Show of Shows," died on Wednesday (February 12) at age 91 - according to his friend and former collaborator, Carl Reiner. Reiner said he learned of Caesar's death from a mutual friend who had recently been visiting with Caesar. Caesar is known as one of the masters of modern television and one of Hollywood's greatest improvisers.
Shia LaBeouf has launched a performance art exhibit - that he's participating in. People lined up in Los Angeles, where LaBeouf's #IAMSORRY features the actor sitting alone in a room with a bag over his head - similar to the one he was recently seen sporting at the the Berlin Film Festival. The art project comes after the actor was accused of plagiarizing from a little-known graphic artist in a short film he made last year. LaBeouf's exhibit runs through Sunday (February 16).
George Michael has released the video for the first single from his new album "Symphonica." The track, "Let Her Down Easy," is a remake of the 1993 song by Terence Trent D'Arby. Michael's album is due out March 17.
The grand dame of French cinema, Catherine Deneuve, brought her latest film "Dans La Cour" to the Berlin Film Festival on Tuesday (February 11). The actress walked the festival red carpet and posed for photos. Deneuve has got a long relationship with the festival - visiting it frequently over the past decades and also heading the festival jury once.
