David Beckham doing some good work, the former England soccer captain visited the central Philippines on Thursday (February 13) to meet with the survivors of a powerful typhoon.
Beckham went to an evacuation shelter in one of the heavily hit areas.
The soccer legend met with hundreds of evacuees and spent time with children inside an evacuation tent managed by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
The storm that hit the Philippines in November was one of the strongest ever recorded, killing at t least 6,000 people and displacing millions.
Designer Michael Kors helping wrap up Fashion Week in New York as he merged his big city attitude with the country in his unveiling of his Fall 2014 collection.
The New York native debuted a collection full of elegant comfort on Tuesday (February 11). Double and single breasted coats were paired with fox scarves for extra warmth. Pullovers were made in fur, knit and tweed to satisfy an array of tastes.

Striking a pose in the black-and-white swimsuit she wore for her debut in 1959, America's iconic doll, Barbie, is stepping out of toy stores and onto the pages of Sports Illustrated's popular swimsuit issue.
While Barbie will not appear on the actual cover of the magazine - which will hit newstands on Tuesday (February 18), she'll appear on special cover wrap that will be placed over 1,000 copies of the magazine distributed at the American International Toy Fair in New York.
The news is stirring controversy amongst critics who say the Barbie perpetuates unrealistic perceptions of a woman's body.
Her parent company Mattel's retort, however, is captured in the ad campaign's title, "#Unapologetic".
