Trees all over South Carolina completely coated in a thick layer of ice. A winter storm that barreled through the South earlier in the week brought down trees knocking out power to hundreds of thousands. Many remain in the dark. SOUNDBITE: SOUTH CAROLINA GOVERNOR NIKKI HALEY, SAYING: "It is devastating. What we are seeing here is worse than I've, than I think we would see with a hurricane. Um we have seen how tough and how damaging ice can be." It's done plenty of damage to business owners who had to shut down because of no power. This restaurant owner is finally back open after being in the dark for two days. SOUNDBITE: MARIA KRITZAS, RESTAURANT OWNER, SAYING: "Very worried, very worried, the loss of food and the loss of the biz. One day is good but you don't want to be closed too long." In North Carolina, two drivers were killed on the road when they stopped to help another driver who lost control on the ice.
