SOUNDBITE: U.S. GIANT SLALOM GOLD MEDALLIST TED LIGETY, SAYING: "To be the first gold medallist in giant slalom for the U.S. is a pretty cool feeling. It's cool to be able to know that you're among some of the U.S. legends of the sport and adding to that tradition of ski racing in the U.S." The 29-year-old world champion is also the first U.S. skier to win two Alpine skiing golds. He won the super combined title at the 2006 Winter games. He now has his sights set on the next Olympics. SOUNDBITE: U.S. GIANT SLALOM GOLD MEDALLIST TED LIGETY, SAYING: "I definitely see myself skiing next Olympics in Korea. That's definitely a big goal. I'll only be 33-years-old and that's not all that old in the world of ski racing, so I definitely see myself here in four years. Who knows how long I'll continue after that? But I'll be here next time around." Ligety will try for a third Alpine gold medal in Saturday's slalom.
