Gunfire on the streets of Beirut, as authorities scramble in the aftermath of twin bomb attacks that killed at least six people including two bombers. The attack took place near an Iranian center. An al-Qaeda linked group is claiming responsibility, saying it was a response to the intervention of Iran and Hezbollah in the Syrian war. Hezbollah MP Ali Mokdad is calling it a slaughter. (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) HEZBOLLAH MP, ALI MOKDAD, SAYING: "Killing children, killing innocents; they are killing to kill, they are bombing to kill. They don't care any less about a child, an adult, an orphan or the elderly. Their goal is killing, and instability as we started to see some days ago some change in combating this Takfiri terrorism." Lebanon announced a new government Saturday, breaking a 10-month political deadlock. Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil says it's a fight they will take on. (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) FINANCE MINISTER ALI HASSAN KHALIL, SAYING: "We called for the alert of all state departments at the start of this government to form a wide national front to fight terrorism and make this an important point on the agenda of the government. We are now in need of such plan to fight terrorism. This will be brought up in the committee meetings, so all Lebanese are part of this open battle." The attacks blew out the windows of a nearby orphanage run by a Sunni charity. Children were peering out and screaming "bomb, bomb." Some were crying.
