In Glendora, California -- they're preparing for possible mudslides. Thousands of extra sandbags have been brought in, and locals are piling them four and five high. The hope is that, along with these concrete barriers, it will be enough to protect their homes from mud and flooding.
Residents have been encouraged to evacuate ahead of a powerful storm front that is expected to soak the area. Compounding matters for locals is the fact that Glendora sits at the foot of a mountain which was badly scorched by wildfires.
