It's never an easy winter in Minnesota. And while the holidays have long passed, it's never too late to build a snowman where the snow is plentiful. Sometimes it helps to have heavy machinery too -- (SOUNDBITE) GREG NOVAK SAYING: "It's a simple idea, building a snowman isn't original...building one this big is a little different....As long as I'm moving it, might as well do something with it ..." The giant snowman Greg Novak built on his farm offers post-holiday cheer. (SOUNDBITE) UNIDENTIFIED WOMAN SAYING: "My husband asked if i wanted to see the biggest snowman and i wasn't expecting this." The 50-foot snowman took two months to build and is nicknamed "Grand Daddy." Complete with a garbage can nose, it makes for no better way to dig out of close to four feet of snow.
