While other parts of California worry about rainfall that prompted flooding following a severe drought --
Snowfall for Big Bear California.
Approximately two inches fell overnight, forcing crews to jump into action.
(SOUNDBITE) UNIDENTIFIED MAN SAYING:
"Our third time plowing this year -- smaller storms -- this one is the biggest."
The snow knocked down signs, and prompted resorts and highways to close, local media reported.
The closures stopped tourists who had hoped to hit the slopes.
