ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
STORY; Kenzo energised Paris Fashion Week on Sunday (March 2) with a tangy Autumn/Winter 2014 collection which burst with fresh lime shades and tart reds. American actress Jessica Alba, a Kenzo regular, admired the collection from the front row. Black zig zag stripes twisted onto a green one piece suit while gold and silver sequinned patterns were woven onto a citrus green skirt and top, giving the collection a cool yet classy touch. A lot of layered ensembles made it out onto the catwalk -- a short skirt with glittering rust patterns was paired with a matching black and white over-lapping top while voluminous coats were abundant.. Designer duo Humberto Leon and Carol Lim said they worked with American director David Lynch, of 'Mulholland Drive' fame, to design the collection, giving it a sweet and sour look with a twist. The collection was dotted with accessories -- quilted and furry bags and chunky industrial looking shoes. "We wanted colour to be a part of it and so we have a whole range of palette from the lighter pastels to the really stronger colours which are exciting for us," explained Lim. The pret-a-porter shows continue in Paris until Wednesday (March 5).
