March 5 - George P. Bush, son of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, wins Republican nomination for Texas Land Commissioner. Gavino Garay reports.

After casting his ballot in Fort Worth, Texas on Tuesday, George P. Bush secured his seat as the Republican nominee for Texas Land Commissioner.
The 37-year-old is the son of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and aims to be the latest Bush family member in public office.
With a Mexican-born mother, George P. is hoping to appeal to Latino voters.
His campaign raised approximately $3.5 million.
In November, he will face-off against former El Paso Mayor John Cook.
