Klitschko: 'I know better than anyone, no fight, no win'

March 7 - Ukrainian boxer turned leading opposition politician, Vitali Klitschko, says he is determined to fight for his homeland, as Russia solidifies its grip on the Crimea. :DSarah Toms reports.

As moves accelerate to bring Crimea formally under Russia's rule.
Talks continue to get Moscow to back down from the region which has a mainly ethnic Russian majority.
Opposition leader Vitali Klitschko is in Dublin for the European People's Party annual congress. It has been dominated by the situation in Ukraine since day one.
The former professional boxer says a solution must be found to resolve the crisis.
SOUNDBITE) (English) UKRAINIAN FORMER BOXER AND OPPOSITION POLITICIAN , VITALI KLITSCHKO, SAYING:
"We have a dream, but it is very important to make you dream true. I know better than anyone, no fight no win, and that why we have to fight for our dream. But the fight is not easy, there is very big challenge. We have good example, good example in our neighbour countries, our Western countries like Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary who make big changes."
Russian troops entered Crimea following months of pro-European protests that saw Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich ousted.
On Thursday, the self-proclaimed prime minister of Crimea shut down Ukrainian TV channel 1+ 1 after several attacks on staff.
SOUNDBITE (Ukrainian) TV PRESENTER FOR 1 + 1, LIDIA TARAN, SAYING:
"According to our information there was an order from the self-proclaimed Premier of Crimea, Mr Aksenov, to forbid the "1+ 1" channel on the peninsula. The frequency is now occupied by the channel "Rosiya". We are outraged that citizens of Ukraine, as residents of Crimea, are first and foremost citizens of Ukraine, are denied the right to objective information and are stripped of the channels of the country they live in."
In eastern Ukraine - Yanukovich's home town of Donetsk -- about 200 pro-Russian activists try to storm the Ukraine Security Service building.
They resent what Mowcow sees as EU and Nato overtures to Ukraine...divisions that are ripping the country apart.
