Floodwaters in Montana are spilling into yards and leaking into basements. (SOUNDBITE) GARRETT VENTERS, RAVALLI CO. RESIDENT "We had our basement flood yesterday, actually, and we just got done taking up all the carpet out of it and everything this morning... You know, the mattresses are all soaked like a sponge." The muddied waters are blocking roadways, too. And the flooding isn't expected to stop anytime soon. Emergency officials are warning locals to prepare for more flooding. (SOUNDBITE) RON NICHOLAS, RAVALLI CO., OFFICE OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SAYING: "We had the rain, plus the warmer temperatures and that brought down a lot of water... There's still quite a bit of snow on the ground and that could lead to other potential problems." The temperature is rising, and snow is melting at higher elevations. As a precaution, homeowners have been advised to prepare their home with sandbags.
