March 12 - A building collapse in New York City wreaks havoc in East Harlem as firefighters spray water on the rubble and search for survivors. Nathan Frandino reports.

A collapsed building in New York City kills at least one, officials said. The collapse happened near East 114th Street and Park Avenue reportedly at about 9 a.m. (SOUNDBITE) (English) ROBERT PAUL, LOCAL RESIDENT, SAYING: "It shook my building and I'm six blocks away." Heavy smoke and dust billowed into the sky above East Harlem as police pushed back onlookers on the streets. (SOUNDBITE) (English) ROBERT PAUL, LOCAL RESIDENT, SAYING: "I just came out here. I can't believe it. This is the first time I've heard an explosion right here in the neighborhood." At the scene, fire engines were seen spraying water from high cranes into the rubble. More than a dozen have been injured.
