A teenage girl in Massachusetts now has a lot of choices for a prom dress, after a thoughtful boutique owner went on a quest to find plus-sized gowns. It began after the girl left the Designer Diva Consignment Boutique in tears. She could not find a dress that fit. (SOUNDBITE) (English) DESIGNER DIVA BOUTIQUE OWNER, KRISTEN HARRIS, SAYING: "After she left I was upset, my mother broke down, and I broke down, and there were a couple other parents in here. I just thought, I wish I had followed her outside." Kristen Harris decided to look for the girl on Facebook. (SOUNDBITE) (English) DESIGNER DIVA BOUTIQUE OWNER, KRISTEN HARRIS, SAYING: "So I just said, to the beautiful girl who was in here earlier, you know, looking for the size 22 dress, I know you were sad, but please don't be. I'll do everything in my power to find you a dress." Donations of plus-sized dresses began pouring into the boutique. Lynn Pisini brought in her daughter's old dresses. (SOUNDBITE) (English) DRESS DONOR, LYNN PISINI, SAYING: "I think it's great. Being a plus-sized person myself, trying to find consignment clothes, trying to find clothes - there's not enough available." The teenage girl responded to Kristen's Facebook message, and will come in next week to find a prom dress.
