**PLEASE NOTE: QUALITY AS INCOMING** Uproar on the streets of Egypt as 529 members of the Muslim Brotherhood are sentenced to death. It's the biggest mass death sentence handed out in Egypt's modern history. (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) LAWYER AND HEAD OF MINYA LAWYER'S SYNDICATE, TAREK FOUDA, SAYING: "We believe the trial's fairness, which is a right enshrined in the criminal code, was absent in this case, and therefore we take this stand, not in favor of any party. We are all aware and in agreement about the crimes committed by the Muslim Brotherhood, however we must defend the rule of law in Egypt and ensure justice for all." On the streets - mixed reaction. (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) EGYPTIAN MAN, AMIR, SAYING: "This is good the ruling because it is the first time we see our judges act so quickly." Others question the fate of former President Hosni Mubarak and his allies. (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) EGYPTIAN MAN, HASSAN EISSA, SAYING: "So why hasn't Mubarak been given the death penalty? So why haven't any of the ministers in jail been given the death penalty so far? Is their lawyer just really good, and the lawyer for the Muslim Brotherhood lousy? Or are the judges just different, each working according to different laws? This is a farce." Security forces have killed hundreds of Brotherhood members and arrested thousands.
