Now here's a pet with some bite: a Siberian man has adopted a crocodile, who resides with him in his modest apartment. Sergei Falkov says he's raised the four-year old reptile since it was a baby. According to him, the unusual pet does not require any special treatment, just professional handling. SOUNDBITE: Sergei Falkov saying (Russian): "Actually reptiles do not need any special care, they eat very rarely and require minimum care. Compared to cats and dogs, they don't need any special care at all. The only thing is that you need to have professional skills to handle them - not everybody would agree to do that." The 55 pound (25 kilograms) Nile crocodile is named Tuzik, and according to Falkov, leaves his cage whenever he wants and wanders around the apartment on his on free will. Probably good news for the crocodile, maybe not so good news for Falkov's pet cat, who seemed a little wary of his house mate.
