Almost a week after that deadly landslide in rural Washington state, a growing realization that some of those still missing may never be found. The death toll from Saturday's massive slide in Oso ticked up all day on Wednesday as the 25th body was found. But the number of people still missing was dramatically whittled down from 176. SOUNDBITE: JOHN PENNINGTON, SNOHOMISH COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR, SAYING: "Ninety people, nine-zero, are currently missing or unaccounted for." With no new survivors found for days now, a traumatized community rallies 'round to comfort the grieving. Volunteer searchers like Tom Tucker refuse to give up. SOUNDBITE: TOM TUCKER SAYING: "To be honest with you, there's nothing left. I mean, it's just like mounds of mud everywhere." He didn't find any bodies on Wednesday. He did uncover everyday household items, mute testimony to the lives that are likely lost. SOUNDBITE: TOM TUCKER SAYING: "Pictures, kids toys, yesterday I found a little booklet of kids drawings, puzzles. It was just heartbreaking."
